PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate the incoming direction of signal sources distributed in two and three dimensions with sensors in number smaller than the number of the signal source.
SOLUTION: A declination normalization part 122 calculates a first normalization vector, by normalizing a phase of one element of an observation vector as a reference concerning the phase of the element of an observation signal constituted of a frequency region observation signal. In a norm normalization part 123, a norm normalizes a first normalization vector into a second normalization vector being a prescribed value. A clustering part 126 clusters the second normalization vector, to calculate a centroid vector of each cluster. An inverse matrix calculation part 128 finds a general inverse matrix of a matrix representing sensor position information. A product calculation part 129 finds a first incoming direction vector, by calculating declination of the centroid vector and a product of the general inverse matrix. A norm normalization part 130 normalizes the norm of the first incoming direction vector to "1" and finds a second incoming direction vector.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
|
