A precast concrete log roll may be manufactured using conventional or lightweight concrete formulation using Portland cement. Using a lightweight concrete composition it is possible to manufacture a log roll to comply with European manual handling guide lines for single handed use. The individual logs of the roll may be joined by a galvanised wire stapled to the logs. The rolls may be produced in a variety of heights and colours and may incorporate steel reinforcement and fibres for increased strength. |
