PURPOSE: System and method for providing a path based on a position are provided to enhance satisfaction on the service use of a user by providing a recommending path matching with the needs of a user. CONSTITUTION: A lot of recommending path data is stored in database(15). A server(10) is connected to one or more terminals through network. The server stores recommending path from the terminal in the database. The server retrieves the database and transmits data to a terminal(20). The server updates an average moving time to a corresponding recommending path using turnaround-time information.
