The capsule has a capsule unit (10) containing photosensible chip (102) e.g. charge coupled type image detector, connected to a controller (104) for collecting images from an internal side of an examined organ. LEDs (108) are placed on a front end of the capsule unit for supplying a light source. A central unit port (112) is located behind the controller for being connected to an external central unit. A memory module (106) e.g. NAND flash memory, is connected to the controller, and stores data of images taken by the photosensible chip.
