The system has a low pressure chamber (2) provided under a vehicle i.e. motor vehicle, and a suction device connected with the chamber to suck off air from the chamber and to increase road adherence of the vehicle, where the chamber comprises closed bottom. The closed bottom forms and seals a flexible brake mat (13a), and a flexible edge seal (4) is attached to periphery of the mat. A flexible piston-like plungable cover (22) is fastened over the edge seal and the mat. An inflatable airbag (44) is arranged between the cover and a vehicle floor to press the mat by distance pieces (10a).
