PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power supply for enhancing degree of flexibility in an operation. SOLUTION: The switching power supply 1 is equipped with a switching circuit 2, a transformer having primary windings Lp1, Lp2 and secondary windings Ls1, Ls2, and a rectifying and smoothing circuit 3. The switching circuit 2 has switching elements S1, S2; capacitors C1, C2 and diodes D1, D2 connected in parallel to the switching elements S1, S2, respectively; capacitors C3, C4; and inductors L1, Lr. The rectifying and smoothing circuit 3 has an inductor L2, rectifying diodes 31, 32, and an output-smoothing capacitor Cout. The primary windings Lp1, Lp2 and the secondary windings Ls1, Ls2 are disposed in the switching circuit 2 and the rectifying and smoothing circuit 3, respectively.
