STEEL PIPE WITH A PROTECTIVE COATING

The utility model relates to the field of protecting pipelines from corrosion, deposits and the action of aggressive media and is used in steel pipelines intended for transporting oil, gas, suspensions and liquids in the oil and gas industry, chemical industry and in the public sector. It is proposed as the protective coating for steel pipes to use a two-component composition which is based on a polyurethane or polyurea binder, can be hardened by atmospheric moisture and, after application, forms a protective coating having a high degree of elasticity, impact strength, resistance to abrasion, and chemical and temperature stability. The two-component composition on the basis of a polyurethane binder includes: a) polyol (resin), b) polyisocyanate (hardener); and on the basis of a polyurea binder: a) polyamine, b) polyisocyanate (hardener), with a component volume ratio of from 1:5 to 5:1, more preferably of from 1:2 to 2:1, and most preferably of 1:1. The technical result is an increase in the working characteristics of the protective coating.
