The invention relates to a connecting clip to connect parts of a cladding to a framed construction wherein the clip is shaped to fit at least partly around a frame member of the framed construction. The connecting clip is provided with a projecting part which projecting part is used to fix a cladding directly to the connecting clip. Alternatively a longitudinal connecting member is slid over the projecting parts of a number of connecting clips, wherein the cladding is then fixed to the longitudinal connecting member.
