PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for transmitting and receiving a control channel in a wireless communication system are provided to efficiently form and transmit control information for a UE(User Equipment) of each CC(Component Carrier). CONSTITUTION: A control unit(1030) identifies a specific CC among plural CCs which relates to specific control information. The control unit adds the identification information of 0 to m bit(m is an integer number larger than 0) to specific control information, wherein the identification information indicates the CC. A modulation unit(1020) generates a modulation symbol by modulating the specific control information to be mapped with a control channel. A transmission unit(1010) transmits the modulation symbol to a user terminal. A CC identification information storage unit(1040) stores the information on the CC indicated by the contents of the bit or the bit length of the identification information.
