The device has a tongue-shaped latch element (512) extending from an inner side (50) of a cover (5) and comprising a hook contour (513) at its ends. A trigger (4) is provided for locking the latch element, and is operatively connected with an expanding element that drives the latch element into a released position during actuation of the trigger. The trigger is arranged at the cover, and has a spring operating on an actuator. The actuator has a plate from which a shaft extends. An axially running slot opens at free ends of the shaft.
