<p>PURPOSE: A spherical polymer resin with mesopores and a method for manufacturing spherical carbon using the same are provided to simplify manufacturing processes by forming the mesopores without metal catalyst and a template. CONSTITUTION: A spherical polymer resin is formed based on a thermally melting resin. The spherical polymer resin is obtained by cross-linking styrene monomer with divinylbenzene. The spherical polymer resin is impregnated in nitric acid. An oxidizing process with the temperature of 200 to 400 degrees Celsius is implemented. Mesopores with the diameter of 2 to 50nm are formed in the spherical polymer resin.</p> |
