The support has a housing body (1) including a storage space (2) for a cup-shaped vessel (15). The storage space comprises a detection sensor i.e. capacitive sensor, which detects overlaying of the vessel. The sensor is connected with a time measuring device acting on a signal generator. The sensor is formed as a capacitive pressure sensor. The sensor is provided with respect to a strain gauge. The detection sensor generates a start signal for triggering starting of expiration of a time interval of the measurement device. Length of the time interval of the measurement device is selected.
