<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an LED lamp that has a wide viewing angle visible from a forward direction and also from side and backward directions, has high luminous intensity, and has higher luminous intensity in a forward direction than that in side and backward directions. <P>SOLUTION: In the LED lamp 10, an LED chip 28 is surrounded by a substantially ring-shaped frame 22, a dome-shaped translucent hollow enclosure 32 having a concave lens 33 at a tip for covering the LED chip 28 is disposed on the frame 22, and a phosphor layer 34 for converting emission of the LED chip 28 to visible light having a prescribed wavelength for radiation is formed in the entire region of an inner surface of the hollow enclosure 32. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
