PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fruit protection cover which causes no fuzz and the opening of which can be reliably blocked. SOLUTION: The cover 1 is made of a cylindrical knit fabric formed by weaving a monofilament of 1-33 dtex, is set in such a condition that loops forming the cylindrical knit fabric are elongated and the monofilament F is arranged in a warp direction, and has a maximum elongation in a weft direction of not less than 10% and a fabric weight of 10-100 g/m2.
