PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic wave device which can improve a structural function around a terminal. SOLUTION: A SAW (Surface Acoustic Wave) device 1 has a substrate 3; a SAW element 11 provided on a first principal surface 3a of the substrate 3; and a cover 5 covering and sealing the SAW element 11 while forming a vibration space S on the SAW element 11. Further, the SAW device 1 has a terminal 7 with which a hole 5h is filled, the hole 5h penetrating the cover 5 in a direction that the first principal surface 3a faces, outside of the vibration space S, and which is connected to the SAW element 11, and an insulating film 25 interposed between the side surface of the terminal 7 and the inner wall of the hole 5h.
