<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for economically producing a multiple oxide having good crystallinity. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for producing the multiple oxide, which includes mixing a compound of at least one selected from the group comprising barium, strontium, calcium, magnesium and lead, and a compound of at least one selected from the group comprising titanium, zirconia, and tin, heating the resulting mixture to a firing temperature, firing the mixture, and then lowering the temperature of the fired mixture to produce the multiple oxide, the temperature lowering rate in the temperature lowering process is adjusted to be ≥3°C/min and ≤400°C/min.
