<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain penetration operation of a suction pipe, in a state where a blood sample is attached in the back of a lid, when the suction pipe penetrates the lid, after a specimen container sealed by the lid is inverted and stirred. <P>SOLUTION: A blood sample processor includes: a container holding section 251 for holding the specimen container 101 with the lid which accommodates the blood sample, and turning it; a turn-driving section 254 for causing the container holding section 251 to implement a turning operation; a penetration driving section 212 for causing the specimen suction pipe 211 for sucking the blood sample within the specimen container, to penetrate the lid 102 of the specimen container 101; and a control section 51 for repeating an inversion/stirring operation, including the first process for inverting the specimen container 101 held by the container-holding section in an upright state and the second process for causing the specimen container to be in the upright state, and controlling the turn-driving section 254 and the penetration driving section 212 so as to cause the specimen suction pipe 211 to penetrate the lid of the specimen container 101, after the second process in the final turning/stirring operation is implemented for a time longer than the second process in the other operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
