PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device, focusing on an object at high speed even in the moving image photographing state to reduce recording of a disadvantageous image in a photographed image. SOLUTION: This imaging device includes a control means 123 for controlling the device, thereby setting to perform moving image photographing. When a second imaging device is set to perform static image photographing, and the focus control state is adjusted to the object to perform in-focus operation, the control means 123 receives information through a connecting means for enabling communication with the second imaging device, and performs in-focus operation for moving image photographing based on the received information to pick up an image.
