PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system capable of reducing a transmission error rate and facilitating application to audio data communication by combining TDMA-based slot diversity and modulation system switching. SOLUTION: The communication system includes a transmission apparatus and a receiving device. The transmission apparatus includes an allocation unit for allocating at least two time slots to the receiving device; a modulation system setter for setting different modulation systems to the at least two allocated slots; and a radio unit for transmitting at least three pieces of the same data using the at least two slots. The receiving device includes: a radio unit 601 for receiving data of the at least two time slots; a detection unit 604 for detecting an error after demodulation in the at least three pieces of the same data received by the radio unit; a comparison unit 606 for comparing contents of the demodulated data when any error is detected in all the demodulated data; and a generation unit 607 for generating data on the basis of the results of the comparison.
