A rotor assembly (5) for a rotorcraft, such as a helicopter, comprises a plurality of rotors (7) rotatable about a hub (17), and a drive means arranged to drive the rotors (7) at a radial distance away from the hub (17).Each rotor (7) may be mounted on the hub (17) via a mounting (29) and the drive means may be arranged to drive the rotors (7) at a location radially outward of the mounting (29). The mounting may be slideably moveable around the circumference of the hub (17).
