PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smooth tilt operation device solving discomfort and distrust toward a machine system of a seating person caused by a delayed start in a tilt operation caused by manufacturing dispersion of eccentricity of an eccentric shaft part in a differential transmission reclining mechanism in the reclining mechanism of an automobile seat. SOLUTION: A time lag from the fixed state of the position of a seat back to the release of a driving state of wedge plates 5 and 5' caused by the rotation of an operation piece 3a and the tilt operation by the co-rotation of the operation piece 3a and the two wedge plates 5 and 5' is solved by a stopper piece 10 which has an interposition piece 10a interposed between both wedge plates 5 and 5' and transmitting the movement of one wedge plate 5 to the other wedge plate 5' in an increased state of the eccentricity of the eccentric shaft part 4, and a spacer 12 which has a space piece 12b interposed between the respective end faces of the operation piece part 3a and the end face parts of the respective wedge plates 5 and 5' facing thereto and transmitting the rotation of the operation piece 3a to the wedge plates 5 and 5' in a state decreased eccentricity.
