摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an automatic transmission, capable of securing travelling performance while avoiding an interlocked condition even if the interlocked condition is generated. SOLUTION: The control device for the automatic transmission comprises an interlocked condition detecting means for detecting the interlocked condition in which one of fastening elements fails in fastening and the rotation of an input rotating element and that of an output rotating element are fixed, an avoidance determining means for releasing one of the fastening elements which achieves a command shift stage at the time when the interlocked condition detecting means detects the interlocked condition and for determining whether a shift stage on a higher speed side than a predetermined shift stage is achieved as an avoidance shift stage from the command shift stage at the time when detecting the interlocked condition, and a failure shift control means for shifting the shift stage to the avoidance shift stage when the avoidance determining means determines that it can be achieved, or otherwise for releasing all fastening elements into a neutral condition.
