PERMANENT FORMWORK FOR REINFORCED CONCRETE USING CEMENT BLOCKS

PURPOSE: A permanent formwork for reinforced concrete using blocks is provided to improve the structural characteristics of blocks because longitudinal and transverse reinforcing bars are arranged in the blocks so that the blocks can be used as bearing walls. CONSTITUTION: A permanent formwork for reinforced concrete comprises blocks(10,20) and reinforcing bar arrangement grooves. Each block is made of cement, yellow soil, or an insulating material and has four side walls which form a concrete placing space. Wedges for horizontality control are interposed between the blocks. The reinforcing bar arrangement grooves are formed on one or more side walls of a block to partially receive transverse reinforcing bars(1).
