PURPOSE: A backlight unit of a panel inspection system is provided to reduce the non-uniformity of luminance when inspecting a lighting system on large sized panel. CONSTITUTION: An LED(Light Emitting Diode) channel of a backlight unit(100) for a panel inspection system is divided into 9 unit channels, and the individual control operation for each unit channel is enabled. In order to emit the heat generated while inspecting the lighting system of the backlight unit, air inlets are formed in slot shape at the lateral sides of the backlight unit. A ventilation fan(400) is formed at a lower end portion of the backlight unit to circulate air to reduce the heat generated in the inspection of the lighting system. |
