PURPOSE: A cylindrical water tank with a bottom plate reinforcing structure, and a construction method thereof are provided to prevent the corrosion of the water tank by exhausting chlorine gas generated from water through an exhaustion screw. CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical water tank with a bottom plate reinforcing structure comprises a base slab(10) and a water tank body(20). The water tank body includes a bottom plate(21), a body wall(26), a roof(28) and an exhaustion screw. The bottom plate is installed on the upper side of the base slab. The body wall is connected to the edge of the bottom plate. The exhaustion screw is assembled to an assembling hole of the roof to exhaust chlorine gas. The bottom plate includes a bottom plate body, and a reinforcing belt piece.
