[Also in Divisions G3 and H1] A centrifugal switch (see Division H1) used to regulate the speed of an electric motor 10 has a lamp 64 connected across its contacts 36, 38 such that during normal operation the lamp is illuminated intermittently but when the voltage of a battery 16 supplying the motor falls too low the contacts remain closed and the lamp remains extinguished. The circuit may be rearranged so that the lamp remains on to indicate low voltage.
