<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming agent storage device the direction of which is easily checked when attached to an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The device has such a structure that, as viewed from the direction in which a toner storage device 121 is attached to the image forming apparatus, protrusion portions 301, 303 (302) for guiding a mounting portion to the image forming apparatus are arranged in the upper right and lower left portions on outer periphery. In a state where the end of the toner storage device 121 is gripped with the right hand of a worker 401, the protrusion portions 301, 303 (302) are easily visually recognized.
