PURPOSE: A camera type mobile communication terminal providing location information and a location information providing method are provided to insert location information to a photographed image data of a camera. CONSTITUTION: A location information providing unit(140) provides a location of a photographed place of a photographed image data. A data processing unit(130) inserts the location to the image data. The data processing unit performs JPEG encoding of the image data. If the image data is provided from a photographing unit(110), a control unit(180) enables the data processing unit to controls the location to insert in the image data.
