<p>A method and a device for prompting incoming call are provided by the present invention, the method includes that a User Equipment (UE) receives polychrome data from a polychrome server, and plays the polychrome according to the polychrome data(101), a switch server receives an access switch request, and notifies a switch event to the polychrome server, the polychrome server sends a notification message indicating the access switch to the UE(102), the UE stops playing the polychrome according to the received notification message, and performs prompt of an incoming call using a prompt event locally(103). The present invention enhances reliability of the incoming call prompt, improves user experience, and solves the problem that a called user can not identify the calling user, even fails to answer the incoming call, because of not obtaining the incoming call notification in incoming call prompt method in related technologies.</p> |
