PURPOSE: An operational amplifier is provided to cancel an offset voltage according to an offset voltage or a temperature property of a connected sensor device. CONSTITUTION: A main amplifier(117) is connected to a non-inverting input terminal(101) and an inverted input terminal(102). The main amplifier comprises trans-conductance amplifiers(107,108) and a trans-impedance amplifier(113). A compensation amplifier includes trans-conductance amplifiers(109,110) and a trans-impedance amplifier(114). An offset voltage controlling circuit(124) is connected to the non-inverting input terminal. The condenser(112) is connected to the inverted input terminal. An output terminal of the trans impedance amplifier is connected to a condenser(111) through a switch(115).
