PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device which has a hinge structure to which inhomogeneous torque is added among a plurality of hinges and which can prevent a gap between housings from occurring at a folding position. SOLUTION: The portable terminal device 10 includes first and second housings 20 and 30, a torque adder 41a and a flexible pad 50. The first and second housings 20 and 30 are mutually connected between a folding position and an opening position turnably through a plurality of hinges 41 and 42 aligned at one edge part. The torque adder 41a belongs to the one hinge 41 to give torque for turning when shifting from the opening position to the folding position. The flexible pad 50 is provided on the surface of at least one housing of the first and second housings 20 and 30 in parallel with the arrangement direction of the plurality of hinges 41 and 42, and comes into contact with the surface of the other housing at the folding position, wherein hardness at a position 51 corresponding to the one hinge 41 is smaller than hardness at a position 53 corresponding to the other hinge 42.
