<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an array substrate in a Thin Film Transistor Liquid Crystal Display, and to provide a method of driving the same. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes: a step of storing, in a temporal storage unit, an image voltage signal corresponding to a pixel unit provided in each row by sequentially carrying out display update operation for each row to the pixel units provided in each row of the array substrate to sequentially update a temporal storage unit in each pixel unit for each row until updating of the temporal storage unit of the pixel units of all of the rows in a screen of one frame is finished; a step of updating the screen of one frame by inputting a frame update-on signal to a screen update switch in the pixel unit of each row and by inputting the image voltage signal in the temporal storage unit of the pixel unit in each row into a pixel electrode of the pixel unit in each row to change it into the image signal voltage; and inputting a frame update-off signal to turn the screen update switch off after finishing the charge of pixel capacitance of the image unit in each row, whereby the temporal storage unit in the pixel unit of each row prepares the temporal storage of the image voltage signal of the next frame. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
