PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable optical transmission substrate in which optical connection is easy and such damage as break at the front end of optical waveguide bodies is not generated, and to provide an optical module and an optical transmission apparatus. SOLUTION: The optical transmission substrate 10 includes: a substrate 11 having a long hole 11b which is formed from a surface 11a through the other surface 11c opposing to the surface 11a; and a plurality of optical waveguide bodies 12 tightly disposed in the long hole 11b with the end 12a projecting from the surface 11c of the substrate 11.
