<p>To improve precision with which to determine whether or not an object exists. An object detecting device is provided with an acquiring means which acquires information relating to an object by means of a radar, an angle detecting means which detects an angle of the object with respect to the vehicle, an extrapolating means which extrapolates information relating to the object, and a determining means which determines whether or not the object exists, on the basis of the information relating to the object acquired by the acquiring means and the information relating to the object extrapolated by the extrapolating means. When object-related information that is used to determine whether or not the object exists contains information extrapolated when the variation of an angle is a predetermined one or more, the determining means eases conditions for determining that the object exists in comparison with the case of not containing the same information.</p> |
