The present invention relates to a cyclic Pd nanostructure and to a Pd nanostructure catalyst for hydrocarbon compound synthesis. More particularly, the present invention relates to a cyclic Pd nanostructure, wherein a cyclic Pd nanostructure with a size of 10 to 300 nm is obtained through reassembling cubic Pd nanoparticles by controlling the reduction rate of palladium chloride (PdCl2) to cubic Pd nanoparticles using voltage and current, and to a Pd nanostructure catalyst for hydrocarbon compound synthesis. The above-described present invention is highly effective in various applications such as a Pd nanostructure catalyst for hydrocarbon compound synthesis, which synthesizes hydrocarbon compounds by reacting hydrogen and carbon dioxide generated by air pollutant discharge reduction or elimination systems in coal refinery facilities, thermal power plants or cement-processing plants, due to the unique characteristics of the cyclic Pd nanostructure such as high energy, large surface area, chemically adjustable physical properties, and high structural stability. In addition, since the nanostructure can be simply formed under low-energy conditions at room temperature and at atmospheric pressure, it is possible to manufacture a mass-producible high-purity and ultra-precision Pd nanostructure. |
