<p>Packing objects on a pallet having rising sidewalls topped with protruding flanges. The bottom layer of objects is nested into the pallet, but subsequent layers extend over the side flanges which are spaced to accept fork lift truck prongs. The stacked objects are strapped or pref. wrapped in shrink-wrap (polyethylene) film to form a coherent whole. Pref. a relatively lightweight (galvanised) metal mesh or light gauge sheet pellet is used which can be flattened after use to form cladding, etc.</p> |
