PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a relay station to provide a mobile station with a communication path for a base station, and to set the relay station to an endpoint of communication. SOLUTION: The relay station 300 includes: a base station-relay station resource allocation request-transmission section 331 for transmitting a base station-relay station resource allocation request indicating a request for allocation of a base station-relay station resource, namely a resource used by a radio signal transmitted and received between the base station and an own station, to the base station by a radio signal; a base station-relay station resource allocation response-reception section 311 for receiving the base station-relay station resource information indicating the base station-relay station resource from the base station by a radio signal as a base station-relay station resource allocation response, namely a response to the base station-relay station resource allocation request; and a base station-relay station resource information storage section 351 for storing the base station-relay station resource information received by the base station-relay station resource allocation response-reception section 311.
