<p>Disclosed is a gas treatment device provided with a discharger, an electromagnetic-wave generator, an antenna, and a fan. The discharger ionizes a gas in a target space. The electromagnetic-wave generator generates electromagnetic waves that irradiate the target space. The electromagnetic waves irradiate, from the antenna, a gas ionization region containing the gas ionized by the discharger. By ionizing a gas using the discharger and irradiating with electromagnetic waves from the antenna, a plasma is generated. The fan then moves at least part of the discharger, thereby changing the location of the gas ionization region and changing the location of the plasma.</p> |
