The device has a touch-latch arrangement comprising locking units for locking a furniture part in a closed position, where the furniture part is ejected from the closed position by an ejection unit i.e. piston-cylinder unit (1), after correct removal of locking. The ejection unit has an energy accumulator i.e. spring (6), for providing ejection effect, and a brake- and/or damping arrangement is integrated in the ejection unit. The brake- and/or damping arrangement is formed to slow-down percussion-type closing movement of the furniture part from an open position into the closed position.
