PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a canal-type earphone capable of improving sound quality by enabling the diameter of a loudspeaker unit to be enlarged while improving wearability. SOLUTION: The canal-type earphone includes a housing 52, which incorporates a loudspeaker unit, and an acoustic tube 54 extending from one end of the housing 52. The housing 52 is made asymmetric to a central axial line O by presence of a cut portion 55 in an outer circumferential portion corresponding to an antilobium in a state where the earphone is worn in the ear. The cut portion 55 is formed to be positioned on a rear side of the antilobium in the state of wearing the earphone in the ear. The acoustic tube 54 extends obliquely from a position eccentric from a center of the housing 52 and is formed to position the cut portion 55 on the rear side of the antilobium and to position a front portion of the housing 52 while being tilted to an entrance of the external auditory meatus in the state of inserting the acoustic tube 54 into the external auditory meatus.
