PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bring a color printed and displayed based on optional image data close to a color subjected to screen display. SOLUTION: A print color characteristic including a color gamut of a print color is acquired, image data are generated while deriving coordinates located in the color gamut of the print color as color data representing a color of a pixel in accordance with the print color characteristic, and the image data are output along with identification data representing the generation of the image data in accordance with the print color characteristic.
