PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper stacking device for an image forming device, for keeping paper in stable attitude without shifting a restricting member with the load of the paper while avoiding the lowering of the force of fixing the restricting member to restrict the position of the paper in the cross direction and the feeding direction. SOLUTION: An operation lever 4 is released to incline a fixing plate 5 to a fixing shaft 3 so that the corner of the hole of the fixing plate 5 is in the state of wedging the fixing shaft 3 to fix the restricting member 1. The operation lever 4 is operated to incline the fixing plate 5 at a right angle to the fixing shaft 3 so that a clearance is formed between the hole of the fixing plate 5 and the fixing shaft 3 to make the restricting member 1 movable. The fixing shaft 3 can be moved in the axial direction, or the fixing shaft 3 can be rotated around its axis. Thus, a contact position between the corner of the hole of the fixing plate 5 and the fixing shaft 3 is shifted to secure the fixing force in the wedging state while reducing the wear at the contact position.
