<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content distribution system suppressing deterioration of sensory quality of a user, in content distribution for carrying out content reproduction using a reproduction buffer. <P>SOLUTION: The content distribution means 102 distributes content data to a client 300. The client 300 has a reproduction buffer 301, and starts reproduction of the content data when content data of initial buffer time duration is buffered to the reproduction buffer 301. An integrated sensory quality estimating means 106 estimates the integrated sensory quality for which the influence given to the subjective sensory quality of a user by a buffering time indicating the time required for buffering the content data of initial buffer time duration to the reproduction buffer 301 is considered.
