PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for organic electroluminescent element which is high in light-emitting efficiency and is long in service life, and to provide an organic electroluminescent element, a lighting device and a display using the material for organic electroluminescent element. SOLUTION: The material for organic electroluminescent element is represented by a general formula (C): Ar1Ar2Ar3B-A. In the formula, A represents triethyl amine, pyridine or pyrrole; B represents boron atom; and Ar1, Ar2and Ar3each represents substituted or non-substituted aromatic or heterocyclic group.
