PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new boron adsorbing composition having high boron adsorbing capacity and applicable to practical use. SOLUTION: The boron adsorbing composition comprises an ammonium derivative expressed by general formula (1), wherein, R1is an amino group-containing group containing sugar alcohol residue or polyhydric alcohol residue; R2is a heterocyclic composition residue with N of a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic composition excluded; and X-is an anion coordinated in N.
