<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling display of graphical information in a display window. <P>SOLUTION: A scroll region, i.e. a scroll bar, is provided with a "memory" that indicates to the user where to return to, after scrolling away from a current position within, e.g., a large document. The scroll bar is advantageous in that it relieves the user from having to pay a very high attention to the scrolling content of the window, and this means that scrolling can be performed more quickly as compared to prior art types. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
