<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized optical device in which a projection of a light-transmissive adhesive agent to an electrode or the like is suppressed in a directly affixed structure, and which exhibits satisfactory performance. <P>SOLUTION: An optical device includes a semiconductor substrate 4 having an optical region 1a formed on its upper surface, a light-transmissive insulating film 3 covering the optical region 1a and having a concave part 5 positioned at a region outer side of the optical region 1a, a concave part 6 formed in the region on the light-transmissive insulating film 3 while being located outside the optical region 1a and inside the concave part 5, a light-transmissive member 2 wholly covering the optical region 1a and provided at the concave part 6, and a light-transmissive adhesive agent 10 filled in a gap between the light-transmissive insulating film 3 and the light-transmissive member 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
