PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat loosening a shock force received by an occupant in rear collision of a vehicle, and preventing a so-called whiplash injury with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: A backrest part is provided inside a seat back. The backrest part can be elastically deformed by a pressing force from an occupant when a vehicle collides in a rear part. A headrest is fixed to the seat back. The backrest part absorbs collision energy received by the occupant by elastic deformation in rear collision. Furthermore, the backrest part is elastically deformed and the occupant moves backward, and the headrest moves relatively forward, so as to support a head. Thereby, a whiplash injury is restrained.
