PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric speaker which is strong against stress from the outside, secures desired frequency characteristics and enables stable mass production, and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The piezoelectric speaker is provided with: a piezoelectric vibrator 5 which converts an electric signal into vibration; a holder 3 which holds the piezoelectric vibrator 5; a flexible substrate 4 which is electrically connected to the piezoelectric vibrator 5 and serves as an electric signal input port to the piezoelectric vibrator 5; and an exterior molding which covers the piezoelectric vibrator 5 where injection molding using thermoplastic resin becomes possible since the piezoelectric vibrator 5 is firmly supported in an exterior molding die, and the piezoelectric speaker whose mass production is stably performed and the method for manufacturing the same are constituted.
