PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio relay device capable of increasing a response speed by making following performance excellent even if a delay wave fluctuates. SOLUTION: In the radio relay device, an analysis controller controls so that a canceler input signal is FFT-analyzed, the obtained data are averaged, the thus obtained spectrum data are further IFFT-analyzed to calculate a delay profile, and the number of times of averaging processing is reduced as the residue of the calculated delay profile becomes large in updating a tap coefficient from the delay profile.
